Hot rod artist Chris ‘Fat Frog’ Froggatt brought his Belvedere to us for the 383 motor to be rebuilt. Other work carried out included the painting and rewiring of the engine bay.
We built the 440 engine in Nigel’s Road Runner, which features Indy SR Heads, an hydraulic cam and K.B. Pistons, as well as wiring the engine bay. The car ran a best of 12.1 seconds on the strip.
For Jeff’s Coronet we built a 440 with Edelbrock Heads, an hydraulic cam and forged pistons. A nitrous oxide system and a six point roll bar were also installed. The car ran a best ET of 12.1 without nitrous and 10.9 with.
This 440 Six Pack was built for a customers Dodge Charger and ran a best elapsed time of 12.75sec. We also converted it from automatic to manual transmission.
This 440 Six Pack produced 475hp on the dyno.
This 493 was fitted with 440-1 heads and a 0.625″ roller cam. It produced 650hp with 650ft-lbs of torque.
This Cadlliac came to us due to the customer requiring a tow bar that wouldn’t detract from the appearance of the car. Billadeau Speed installed the concealed tow bar, as seen below, with the bracket for the tow ball installed behind the removable number plate. The car was also rewired.
