The ex-Billadeau Super Stock Belvedere Wagon is back on the street with a modern edge. New owner Jamie had us install a 6.1 litre Gen III Hemi with a 727 transmission. Other features include Hotchkis torsion bars, super stock springs and a chromoly roll bar. This new set up produced 331hp at the rear wheels.
Ray’s 318
This 318ci motor was built for Ray’s ’69 Charger.
Alex’s 493
We built this 493ci iron head motor for Alex and it provided 541hp with 585 ft/lbs of torque.
Cookie’s Plymouth Valiant
Cookie’s Valiant has had a makeover for the 2021 season, with a fresh 499ci motor plus 727 transmission fitted, and all topped off with Craig Ainge sign writing job. Looking great!
Colin’s ’70 Dodge Charger R/T
We prepared and installed a fresh 440 for Colin’s 4 speed Dana ’70 Charger.
Chris’s ’69 Chevrolet Camaro
Chris’s stunning Camaro has had various jobs completed at Billadeau Speed, and features classic super stock style sign writing by Craig Ainge.
Chris also has brought in the original Russo’s Rat ’69 Chevelle and it’s with us for a full restoration to take it back to it’s glory days of 1974. Look out for a full post with more details later in the year!
Graham’s ’70 Dodge Challenger R/T SE
Graham brought his Challenger in for a new ignition and various other small jobs, before heading over to John Sleath’s rolling road.
Al’s 440
Al’s 440 was rebuilt for his ’68 Dodge Charger. It was a mild build, producing 428hp.

This Chrysler 300 came to Billadeau Speed for brake and suspension work.
Richard’s 472 HEMI
This blown 472ci HEMI was built for a genuine 1960s nostalgia dragster.
The restored Tudor Rose dragster made it’s first appearance at Melbourne Raceway in July 2022, looking absolutely stunning.
